Hi!

My name is Abby and I am an American currently living in Seoul, South Korea. This is my blog about some important things in my life. I talk about books that I read and love, food that I cook, and the projects I sew. Along with that I give tips, information, and many other things on this blog.

I moved to Korea in late 2022 and am currently working as an English teacher. I love living here and the things the city and country offer me. I write about my life here and the things I do and see here.

Abby loved books, even as a young girl. She would have her mom read her favorite to her every night. When she grew up, she expanded her literary knowledge that is still growing today. Abby finds time almost every day to read some, even if it is just a few pages. She wanted to make this one of the main focus points of her blog. She reviews recent reads, talks about upcoming novels, and makes recommendations for either certain times of the year or similar novels.

Cooking did not really enter Abby’s life until late college, but she has fond memories of helping her parents in the kitchen at all ages. There is a great joy for her learning new recipes and techniques, and then taking them to make up her own. Now as a young adult, Abby cooks many nights a week and tries new things regularly. Food has always been a part of her life, just now she knows how to make it!
